The fact that you’re reading this article proves your long-term dedication to our project, so thank you for that!

There has been a number of events going on lately.

Most importantly it is our last week before the launch campaign begins, which makes everyone feel a little more stressed than usual.

So let’s take things from the beginning!
After spending (and if my calculations are correct 15x7x6) hours in the lab or maybe more, we successfully passed our Experiment Acceptance Review, on October the 2nd!!!

Which gave us a really good reason to celebrate- wooohoooo -most of us by sleeping… zzz

For those who could not take benefit of this privilege, more lab work had to be done.

In this list there were included results from our diodes’ calibration, ground station blah blah blah, and the complete Flight Requirements document, where the deadline is the following Monday.
And all this =>
another weekend at uni!!
Fun part of the week #1
The LiftOff Event, the first job fair event organized at our university by a group of students (including me), which…. was a brilliant opportunity for IRIS to make some money by selling ALL of our patches, and present our experiment to various companies, but also to the new students.
I do hope they learnt from our mistakes!!
Fun part of the week #2
The Taco Banquet! A yearly traditional SWEDISH celebration: With muchos tacos, and chupitos, and lots of dear friends!
So, launch campaign starts next Friday the 13th (coincidence?! And source of many jokes), and we are very happy along with our friends from EXIST to welcome to Kiruna the rest of the BEXUS teams!

And by the way, you can check out our poster here! (credits to Alex, Edgar and… me!).
