IRIS Patch 1.0
Good evening fellow Europeans, and good morning/day/night to everyone else! Now that we have reached the middle of August, there is only two months left until IRIS will be sent into the stratosphere to perform it's scientific measurements.
To celebrate this we have taken steps to acquire these beautiful patches from Mera Profil & Reklam, and they will be available before the end of this month! Only 100 of these babies will ever be created, so make sure to grab yours before it's too late...
In other news, the team was visited last week by three experts from ESA and SSC for our Integration Progress Review. We received a lot of feedback and have much work to do before the next milestone in the project, the Experiment Acceptance Review. With most of the team back in Kiruna from their summer holidays, this should not be a problem!
The Mechanical department has finished the third iteration of our design, and we can now present a clear picture of what the experiment will look like.
The electrical department has received their PCB's, and are now at hard work preparing the electronics of the experiment.
But through all the hard work, we never forget about the most important things in life. Like pizza.
