Now that summer has suddenly arrived there is no more coursework, so some team members have left Kiruna to visit family, and some remain to work on the project. Before us lies perhaps the most crucial stage in the project's timeline; it is time to get practical. Before summer ends, the experiment will be assembled. This means lots of hopeful testing and work for the technical departments.

For electronics, it will be exciting to see our design come alive. In the coming weeks, the components will arrive, and together with software, we will build the experiment piecewise. After testing all the pieces, the puzzle can become completed into the IRIS experiment, and integration testing can then take place. It is then we will see whether or not our design was sound.

Until then, we will continue our work here in Kiruna and elsewhere. Take care  nd until next time, good day!

Home again, CDR done

The four CDR adventurers have arrived back home in Kiruna,  more ready than ever to face the next BEXUS deadline. With them they bring new skills and knowledge courtesy of the kind people at ESTEC.

A beautiful day at ESTEC, The Netherlands.
